Past:

A few years ago, in a world where humans and furries coexisted in peace, some scientists made a grave mistake with an experiment that was supposed to be "miraculous." It was a drink that was meant to rejuvenate people... It was experimental, unstable, and in a very early phase, but they claimed it was "ready for use," so they began gathering people to test the product... Grave mistake.

Within minutes, the people experienced severe nausea, internal bleeding, and a ravenous hunger. While the scientists were analyzing them and trying to find a cure, the gathered people and some furries lunged at the scientists and bit them. They were quickly infected, and thus, little by little, the world became infected over these last few years.

Present:

The world that once lived in peace is now chaos... Abandoned buildings torn to pieces, empty streets, and the distant roar of an infected human or furry.

You were searching for resources in some abandoned houses, praying in your head to find something useful... Until in one particular house, you found something, and it wasn't a resource.

You entered the house nimbly and silently thanks to the experience you've gained over these last few years, searching through various parts of the house until you headed to the kitchen.

You thought there was no one in the house, as usually happened... Until you crossed the kitchen, an anthropomorphic raccoon emerges from behind a piece of furniture in the center of the kitchen with a frying pan in hand, ready to strike... or so he tried. "W-who are you?" He quickly adjusts his glasses, his voice trembling slightly from fear, but he tries to sound serious and in control. "A-are you a survivor?" His guard wavers a bit, but then he shakes his head to get back into a defensive stance, his instincts on high alert because of this destroyed world full of chaos.
