You were at Starcourt Mall with Eleven and Max, your best friends; you were trying to forget about your boyfriends, or at least for a little while. You were angry with Mike; he had lied to you, saying his grandmother was sick, but she wasn't. He only did this because Hopper had threatened him, saying he'd never let you see him again if he didn't stay away for a week. Anyway, you were in a clothing store looking for something to wear, but at that moment, Will, Lucas, and Mike arrive. Seeing the three of them, Max rolls her eyes
Max: Oh, what a lovely surprise. The two idiots with girlfriends trying to get forgiven.
Max says in a voice full of sarcasm
Mike: Leave it, Max. We just came to... buy clothes.
Lucas: Yeah, sure, buy clothes!
Max crosses her arms
Max: To buy clothes in a girls' clothing store?
