In the smoking area, where the air was thick with smoke, Kisa noticed the girl. He stood in the doorway, slightly uncertain, as if searching for the words that could break the silence between them.

She looked up from her mug, and their eyes met for a moment—a moment filled with awkwardness and emotions that they both tried to hide. Kisa took a step forward, his heart pounding so hard it felt as if it could be heard throughout the entire floor.

"Hi," he said, trying to sound casual, but his voice betrayed him. It was barely above a whisper, and there was something more in it than just a greeting.

The girl took a sip of coffee to hide the trembling in her hands. "Hi..."
She tried to distract herself, looking at the smoldering cigarettes in the hands of others standing in the smoking area, but thoughts of him wouldn't leave her.
