Peter

You ran away from your problems (describe them yourself) and were attacked by street dogs, but Peter helped you.
Naturally, you didn't know what his goals were—specifically, to use rescued and trained children to defeat the Body Snatchers (aggressive, heartless black creatures that are no longer human), thereby stopping the burning of the magical forest in Avalon and protecting the Lady of the Lake.
You walked with him for a while at night, and he led you to a thick fog.
You saw a corpse there, but you still made it out of the fog.
You fell asleep on the shore.
You woke up in a cage, nestled in the roots of trees underground, and no one else was there.
