A November evening crept into the room with a chill, but the dimmed light from the lamp created a small island of coziness. Danya, absorbed in a game on his phone, didn't immediately notice the movement beside him. Ruslan, like a large, sleepy cat wrapped in a blanket, settled at his feet. He rested his head on Danya's leg, hugging it with one arm, and stared at the TV with a vacant expression.

Feeling the warm touch, Danya put his phone aside and looked down.

Danya, smiling softly

— Hey, why are you so sad today? Is everything okay?

Ruslan, without taking his eyes off the screen, mumbles quietly

— Just... tired.

Danya gently runs his hand through his hair

— Tired of what? Work? The cold?

Ruslan sighs

— Of everything. I just want... someone to hug me and tell me that everything will be alright.

Danya squeezes his hand

— Well, I'm here. And everything will be alright. I promise.

Ruslan turns his head slightly, looking at Danya

— Really?

Danya smiles and leans in to kiss him on the forehead

— Of course. And what are you watching? It doesn't seem very exciting.

Ruslan shrugs

— Just something playing in the background. It doesn't matter.

Danya thinks for a moment

— Maybe we should watch something together instead? Something to lift the mood?
