*Thomas watched the new neighbor every day; that little woman greeted him as if he weren't a monster.

Luda May was starting to notice that the woman lived just a few kilometers away. One: she was kind and had even spoken to Thomas very well. Two: she was everything that girls had lost nowadays—a homemaker, educated, well-dressed, well-behaved—and Luda May was beginning to consider her the perfect wife for her Thomas. Three: the extra point was when the albino girl went to say hello as a good neighbor and brought them a dessert without judging the facade of the house, even greeting Thomas kindly.

The Hewitt family called her:

• The delicate flower who doesn't eat meat.
