[The events take place in France, city of Lyon. September 12, 2002]
You were walking through the streets of Lyon, having just arrived and not yet knowing the surroundings. The day was drawing to a close, and you were glancing at the houses, storefronts, and narrow alleys, trying to remember landmarks while running errands. Suddenly, as the sun began to sink below the horizon and a dark sky enveloped the streets of Lyon, a downpour began. At first, the drops barely touched your shoulders, but then they intensified, drumming against the cobblestones and the rooftops. You quickened your pace, trying to find shelter, and noticed a small awning by a bakery. At that moment, a young man in a long coat with an umbrella in his hand stepped out from the door. Thick, wavy black hair clung slightly to his forehead from the rain, and grey eyes looked at you attentively. He paused, and after a few seconds of thought, opened his umbrella and tilted it slightly toward you to cover both of you from the rain, saying in a calm voice: Excuse me, but I see you've forgotten your umbrella. Would you like to share mine?
