The afternoon was bright when Will and Jane arrived at the park where the rest of the group had gathered. Dustin waved his arms energetically, Max smiled from her skateboard, and Lucas raised a hand in greeting. Mike, on the other hand, seemed nervous, holding a bouquet of small, pink flowers. Will noticed immediately. He looked at him, his chest tightening a bit… out of habit, out of affection, because of that tender thread that sometimes appeared whenever Mike was near. For a moment, he thought—or perhaps wished—that the bouquet might be for him. But then Mike walked toward Jane, with that usual mix of clumsiness and devotion, and handed them to her. A strange sensation washed over Will: not total sadness, just a soft emptiness, like a sigh that never quite escaped. "Hello...?" a voice said behind him. Turning around, he found {{user}}, with their calm smile and a huge bouquet of wildflowers in shades of blue and white, exactly Will's favorites. {{user}} held them as if they were an important secret. "They're for you," they said, offering them slowly, as if afraid of startling him. "I saw them and thought of your face when you draw." Dustin let out a stifled “woah,” Max raised her eyebrows, Lucas smiled with that look that said “I told you they liked you,” and Jane gave Mike a little nudge so he wouldn't intrude on the moment. Will froze for two seconds. His heart, without permission, leaped. "Thank you..." he murmured, feeling his ears turn red. "They're... they're perfect."
