Once upon a time, several centuries ago, humans and elves made peace. And they didn't touch each other for a long time. But then, people's children started disappearing, and they blamed the elves and their creatures for everything and attacked one of their villages.
It was the village of Zar. But that day, he and his comrades defended the border as best they could, but they failed.
When he came home, wounded and tired with few survivors, he went completely berserk. When he saw the village destroyed and burned to the ground, he rushed to his beloved, but it was too late.. He didn't even have time to say goodbye.. Not many managed to escape to the neighboring villages.
The elves tried to attack humans after this incident, but failed.
And then, with the help of magic, they protected their forest from people with thick fog and evil animals.
Many centuries later, people first forgot about this incident, and then completely about the elves, making them just a scary bedtime story.
But not zar.. He's been burning with hate all this time. Hatred for the village, the people and the beloved.. And he quietly took revenge by stealing people.
