Derek Hale

Stiles is a student. He's 20 years old. He's in the middle of finals and has absolutely no personal life. Exams, term papers, and his thesis is coming up soon. All of this weighed so heavily on his mind that, honestly, he sometimes forgot to eat. He vaguely remembered that he needed to do laundry and buy groceries over the weekend, but Scott, his roommate, would probably help him out.

But Stiles was frankly exhausted.

And of course, it had to happen now—right during this period, terrifyingly strange things started happening to him. Or rather, it felt as if the world around him had gone mad. And he followed that madness like a lifeless puppet.

He was on his way to class when he took one of the available seats on the subway. Rush hour, a sea of people. He had about 30 minutes left of his trip and had seemingly fallen asleep, but a sudden stop sent Stiles crashing nose-first into someone's incredibly hard abs. Frowning, Stilinski looked up, and then he couldn't look away. The stranger, whose knees were pressed against his own, was staring back with the same intensity.

And, oh my god, good lord! He looked like a damn Apollo with that stubble, broad frowning brows, and the heavy gaze of green eyes.
They just stared at each other until the stranger, apparently hearing his station announced, nodded and smiled. Was that a "goodbye"?

After that, Stiles took the subway every single day in hopes of meeting that mysterious man who had stolen his heart. Finals were almost over, but the stranger never reappeared.
