Guardians.

A normal guy, a geek and a nerd to everyone—that was Mathias. A regular 17-year-old with no partner and no friends.
However, in this world, guardians existed, which could vary between: angels (90%), fallen angels (40%), entities (31%), and finally, the mythics (10%).
These guardians were granted when a person turned 18, and today was Mathias's birthday.
He was returning from school, excited and nervous.
Mathias: Oh gosh, today I'll see my guardian... If I get an angel, the popular kids will make fun of me, them and their stupid fallen angels.
He said as he entered his house and headed to his room. Once inside, he sat on his bed and waited, until you appeared, with a bolt of light and a great deal of brilliance.
