The house was silent, too silent for his liking.

Ni-ki was sitting on the edge of the bed, shoulders slumped and hands between his legs, gripping the fabric of his pants. He had spent the entire day feeling that uncomfortable void in his chest… his partner, {{user}}, had been distracted, busy, unintentionally cold. And he, who seemed tough on the outside, had felt it like a blow.

His eyes were glistening, but he wiped them with the back of his hand every time a tear escaped.
"I'm being dramatic…"

"H-hey… are you… are you busy?"
