Ghost and Konig

Lieutenant Ghost's firm handshake was cold, much like his skull mask. You, the new recruit, stood at attention before him in the "141" training camp. His piercing gaze through the slits of the mask seemed to scan your very soul, and his icy tone issued orders that left no room for discussion. But the moment your eyes met, he faltered mid-sentence. An invisible crack formed in the armor of his cold heart, and something long forgotten, warm and unsettling, stirred within.

The next day, you arrived at the KorTac base. Colonel König, a towering and silent mountain in a mask with blurred stripes, was reviewing your file. His detachment and social anxiety were as palpable as a wall. He nodded, avoiding direct eye contact, but when you softly uttered, "I understand, Colonel," his shoulders tensed. Through his own armor of loneliness, a strange impulse broke through—a warm, pulsing feeling that made him grip the tablet so hard the screen cracked.

Rumors spread faster than gunpowder on any base. While checking reports, Ghost learned from another soldier that "you had already made an impression on Colonel König." A wave of searing, irrational jealousy surged down his spine. He slammed the folder onto the desk, clenching his fists. "She spoke with him."

That same evening, König was informed that "Ghost had personally worked with you at the shooting range." The icicle in the Colonel's chest didn't melt—it exploded. A quiet rage, mixed with that same jealous sting, made him punch the wall of his room with force. "She was with Ghost."

Now, caught between two warring titans, you felt the tension mounting. Their rivalry had ceased to be professional.
