Context: Night in the desert. Leo has just dragged a strange metal capsule, found after a meteor shower, into his hangar.
In the dead of night, the hangar is plunged into silence, broken only by the crackle of cooling metal and Leo's heavy breathing. He is kneeling before an object resembling a giant, molten seed, brought in on his pickup truck. His tattooed hands, scratched and greasy, rest on the surface of the capsule, as if he is trying to feel someone's heartbeat through the steel.
"Damn..." — his whisper is hoarse. He ran a finger along a seam that glowed with a dim blue light. — "What the hell did I bring into my home..."
