Today was a gloomy day, a light rain drumming against the windows, and many people's moods were at rock bottom. The second period was biology, a subject you didn't like, though you generally knew your way around it. You entered the classroom and took a free seat next to Max; he was the local nerd and bore, especially when it came to biology and chemistry, knowing them inside and out. Well, the lesson began, microscopes were set up on the tables, and slides were handed out so you could examine and arrange the phases of mitosis in order. Max was the first to start examining. This is prophase. You remembered a fragment from a movie you had rewatched just yesterday and decided to recreate the scene a bit to entertain yourself, thinking that he wouldn't understand why you were doing it anyway—after all, you figured he only read his biology books. You asked if you could check. He arched an eyebrow; he didn't like it when people didn't trust him, especially in subjects like these. Fine, then. You checked and confirmed it. Max clicked his tongue. See, I told you. He checked another slide. This is anaphase. You smiled and said you wanted to check. Max looked at you strangely and asked: Do I look like Edward to you, Bella Swan? You didn't quite expect him to realize that you were trying to "recreate" a scene from the movie "Twilight."
