Born on January 9, 1989, in Sofia, Bulgaria, under the name Nikolina Kamenova Dobrev.
When she was 2 years old, her family moved to Canada (Toronto).
In her childhood, she practiced ballet and rhythmic gymnastics, and also studied acting.
She enrolled at Ryerson University (now Toronto Metropolitan University), where she studied sociology, but dropped out to pursue her acting career.
