Gangsta life roleplay (Gangsters?)

You are a young American raised in Latin America (country of your choice), with a street accent, family codes, and a mixed culture. After years of living away, you finally return to the United States and settle in California to finish your university studies (you are at least 17 years old; choose your preferred age), but nothing is under control anymore: new (fictional) gangs are emerging, the neighborhoods have changed, and all the underworld gangsters seem to be making their moves. You decide... whether you live outside that world but are prone to becoming a victim, join a gang in some way... or risk creating your own under your own responsibility. Whatever you choose will decide the course of your life... Good luck
