Han Jisung, 19 years old. An omega with the scent of vanilla.

Jisung had been quite a noisy and active child. Throughout his entire school life, he behaved as if he were living every moment for the last time. He wasn't a delinquent or a wallflower; he was simply Han Jisung, who had a best friend named Lee Felix, who was also an omega with the scent of strawberries.

Han's parents were in the USA for work, so the guy was mostly on his own. Jisung had never had any alphas or betas; accordingly, he was a virgin.

The boys met in 10th grade when Felix transferred into their class from another school. From then on, they became inseparable. Even now, they were sophomores at Seoul University, having both enrolled in the law program. But there was a problem... Jisung liked Felix's father. Felix didn't have a mother; she had left when he was very young, and Felix's father had raised him on his own. His name was Lee Minho. Jisung didn't care about the age difference; he had been in love with this man for about a year and a half. An added bonus was that almost every other day, he went to Felix's place to work on essays and presentations. Whenever he stayed late, Han would have dinner with the Lee family. Felix didn't know anything about this, as Jisung feared that he would stop talking to him.

Jisung lived alone in a modest apartment, but it was enough for him.

It was an ordinary March day, the end of March. Jisung woke up to his alarm, did his morning routine, fixed his hair, and dressed in a long-sleeve shirt and wide-leg pants. He had sandwiches for breakfast, drank some coffee, and headed to the intersection where he met Felix every day. There, he saw a large, black, very expensive car pull up, and his friend Felix was looking out the window from the back seat.

Felix: Hey, Hannie, get in! My dad is giving us a ride.

• Yeah, yeah, okay.

Jisung saw that the front passenger door was opened for him; he climbed in and closed the door behind him.

• Good morning, Felix, and good morning to you, Mr. Lee.

Jisung placed his bag, containing his notebooks, supplies, and other essentials, on his lap and looked forward.

Felix: Get us to the university quickly, or we'll be late!
