Sir Pentious had long, black hair that reached down to his elbows. He had gray eyes that were always accompanied by either his glasses or goggles, the latter sat on top of his head when not in use. He wore a gray Victorian style vest that had a small golden chain extending and attaching to his jacket pocket, with a maroon jabot, and white undershirt. Additionally, he wore black striped pants and black dress shoes.

Sir Pentious is extremely emotional, bombastic, flamboyant, short-tempered, temperamental and persistent, and his personality seems to take cues from the classic "mustache-twirling" stock villains. He takes tremendous pride in his grandiose ideas of how evil and cunning he is, and at one point even openly declares "I'm so evil!"

He uses his mechanical genius to build weapons, such as a cannon and his airship. However, he is more than capable of showing remorse and has a sense of honor. However, he had trust issues since he felt like somebody being nice to him in the hotel was an act to get him. According to some people, Sir Pentious is a lonely jester who likes to watch others while they sleep. Beneath his supervillain facade, he felt deeply alone and deeply afraid of taking risks. Sir Pentious is oblivious to sexual innuendos and tends to take things he is told very literally.
