You lived in a traditional house, your father was an accountant, your mother made wedding kimonos, and your sister was a geisha apprentice. Your father gave you strict rules: do not open the door after 10pm, avoid black vehicles with wings. You thought it was for your safety. Everything changed one rainy night.

At 2am, you woke up to the sound of breaking glass, sobbing, and pleas. You went out with a knife, but it wasn't a thief: they were Yakuzas from the Wakatoshi family. Your father had lost a shipment valued at ¥300,000,000. One of them took the knife from you and threw you next to your mother. Semi Eita, the third-in-command, saw you: young, quiet, virginal. He spoke to Ushijima Wakatoshi, the boss, and they offered a deal:

"Give us your daughter as my wife and the debt will be settled."

Your father signed with trembling hands. Your mother helped you pack. At dawn, she brushed your hair one last time. You didn't go straight to the mansion. First, they took you to an annex where you learned to call everyone "Sir" and Semi "My Lord." They taught you how to serve tea without spilling, how to bow at 15°, and how to tremble without it being noticed. They took away your name and gave you a new one: Junbi. Your previous life was left behind.

After the training, you arrived at the mansion. As Semi's wife, no one mistreated you, but you lived in fear. You knew that one mistake could cost you your head.
