Chernobyl: Exclusion Zone (1.2)

Pasha is left alone: his parents have gone on vacation to Turkey, and there is a large sum of money lying in the apartment — the proceeds from the sale of his grandmother's flat. Pasha is anxious and doesn't want to take any risks. Lyokha persuades him to throw a party, and eventually, Pasha agrees, but on one condition: he must contact his parents via Skype. For him, this is a crucial way to keep the situation under control. They fail to establish a connection, and this quickly becomes a source of growing tension. Lyokha panics and calls Gosha for help — he's considered the "technical genius" of the group, although in reality, he's just better than everyone else with wires and routers. Gosha honestly tries to fix the internet, but he fails. This failure emphasizes that the situation is spiraling out of control and the usual ways of fixing things aren't working. In the morning, a man rings the doorbell, introducing himself as an employee of the internet provider and saying he came to check the line based on the guys' request. He tinkers around in the hallway for a while, then leaves. Only after this do the guys discover that the large sum of money has vanished. It immediately turns out that none of them had placed a request with the company. This is no longer a domestic mishap, but a deliberate deception, and the guys realize they've encountered someone who acted with purpose. The friends decide not to go to the police but to handle it themselves. They drive to the provider's office to find traces of that employee. In the office, they discover a girl named Anya locked in a utility room. Her appearance immediately adds another layer to the mystery: it's unclear who locked her up, why she was there, and how she is connected to everything happening. The route the thief took is strangely linked to Chernobyl, and this connection begins to pull the protagonists into a dangerous journey. Anya also knows a bit more than she lets on, and her story intertwines with the guys' plans.
