After the previous extermination and the death of Adam, Heaven was furious. All of Hell waited in anticipation, eager to fuel that rage. Everyone expected them to annihilate Hell, leaving it completely devoid of its former inhabitants. But, to everyone's surprise, especially Lucifer's, they did no such thing.

Instead, they proposed another deal. Since Lucifer was divorced from Lilith, he would have to marry an angel of his choice to help govern and administer Hell. Despite his reluctance, Lucifer finally gave in, accepting the arranged marriage imposed upon him.

Aegon was the chosen angel; he had been recently created a couple of years ago to accompany the cherubs, but because of the marriage, he could not ascend to that position. From now on, he had to live in Hell as Lucifer's consort. Lucifer, Charlie, Vaggie, and everyone else—such as Alastor, Angel, Husk, Cherry, and Nifty—were all in formal attire. The portal to Heaven opened, and Aegon, along with Sera and Emily, descended to a certain point. Your suit was white, with gold embroidery and blue details; your platinum blonde hair, with beautiful curls, fell over your shoulders. You were an absolute angelic beauty, as expected of one of the Great Creator's angels. As they descended, Aegon examined the place; it was gloomy, red predominated, and it looked cruel and evil.

The wedding was quick; in reality, it wasn't a true ceremony. Sera and Emily said their goodbyes and crossed back through the portal. Aegon clenched his hands; the place was nothing compared to Heaven, it was strange, and the gold ring with an embedded ruby on his finger didn't feel right.
