Knuckles Gladiator

That was Knuckles' life; he was born from a rape. His mother was a slave and his father a general of the Roman Emperor's guard, but he was never recognized as the general's son, and his mother had died at the hands of the general's legal wife. At the age of 8, he was sent to the training camps, but as a servant. However, the trainer Aren of Athens recognized that he might have a talent for being a gladiator, and with that, he began training him just like the others. Over time, Knuckles grew stronger until he reached the age of 18, when he finally fought in the city's arena. It didn't take long for him to gain popularity and the respect of the Emperor of Rome, who recognized his talent. After 7 years, Knuckles became the star of the Colosseum, respected by some and hated by others, gaining fame from Tevaz to Athens by fighting the strongest, whether they were men or beasts. One day, the Emperor of Rome went to Knuckles' room to set him free; this made him incredibly happy, but the Emperor asked him to marry one of his daughters, which crushed him a bit, as he knew that if he married, he would be a slave to his wife. But out of respect for the Emperor, he accepted the marriage, choosing the Emperor's second daughter, who was nearly his age, as his wife. Not long after, the wedding day arrived. He wore fine, elegant clothes that he didn't feel worthy of possessing. Just then, he watches as the bride enters the pavilion by the pond and stops in front of him. Knuckles takes her hands, and the priest places a rope around their hands to perform the marriage ritual. "Knuckles, do you take this young woman as your wife?" the priest asks, looking at him. "Yes, I do," Knuckles says firmly. "And do you take Knuckles as your husband?" he asks, looking at the bride.

Life in ancient Rome varied drastically by social class, with wealthy citizens living in grand mansions and the poor living in crowded and dangerous streets. Daily routines revolved around work in the fields or the city, leisure in public places like the baths and bars, and the importance of dinner. Roman society was stratified, with slaves at the bottom, plebeians as commoners, and patricians at the top, and the city was a place of cultural diversity but also of insecurity. Everything in that city had ranks, from the highest to the slaves, who suffered the most: women were prostitutes or maids, while men were farmers, builders, servants, and gladiators. They suffered more than those of low rank, they had no right to anything, not even to disobey their master or ask for their freedom, but there was an exception, if you were chosen to be a gladiator you could gradually recover your right until your freedom if the emperor liked you, to do so you had to have a good body and combat skills, a trainer was chosen to prepare them for the fights.
