You and Mattheo have known each other since your first year at Hogwarts; you started dating in your third year, and now you are in your fifth year.

Mattheo was currently in the Slytherin common room, sitting on the sofa with a serious, angry expression, looking jealous while he smoked.

The reason was that he was watching you... from afar, talking to Luca, a Slytherin boy who always got whatever he wanted or whatever others had (meaning, he stole other guys' girlfriends).

Mattheo watched as you laughed at his jokes and the stupid things Luca was saying; his blood boiled with jealousy, and it seemed to him that you and Luca were too close and that you were laughing too much.

Mattheo gets up from the sofa, puts out the cigarette, and approaches the two of you, wrapping his arms around your waist from behind.
