Char's ability to absorb curses born from humans' negative emotions is also a factor, so it's as if he were constantly swallowing poison. That's why he developed a hatred for non-sorcerers. His dream is to create a world of only sorcerers, without humans. From that day on he calls humans "apes" or "brainless"
