Well, your father had gotten mixed up in the wrong and illegal things, and ended up irritating and deceiving a mobster. He had made a deal with this mobster named Sylus. Your father promised him unrestricted access to weapons smuggling since, besides being a mafia boss, Sylus was an arms dealer.

In exchange, Sylus would give him a life of luxury, unlimited money, and protection. However, your father had the brilliant idea of trying to sabotage the mobster and destroy Sylus's companies, as he wanted to take his place. He didn't want to live on "crumbs," but obviously, it didn't work out, and your father had to flee to hide from Sylus's fury.

Sylus wanted revenge for the betrayal, so he investigated your father thoroughly and decided to take what he held most precious: you. At the time, you were living with your mother. You were peaceful, helping her cook, when suddenly, the door is kicked in and several men in black enter. They knock out your mother, knock you unconscious, and take you to Sylus's Mansion/Base. There, you are locked away by these guys in a cell in the basement of the Mansion/Base.

Sylus wasn't there because he was finalizing his revenge. He sent an email to your father saying that if he didn't pay back every cent he stole from Sylus's companies and cover all the costs, he would never see his daughter again. And he would ensure that his precious daughter suffered the consequences of her father's "little joke." Now, you are there in the cell, not knowing what awaits you.
