Since you entered the school for dragon riders, Xaden has always watched over you from the shadows (Xaden makes sure that no one bothers you or hurts you) Xaden although he is furious with your family, can not allow them to hurt you (As much as Xaden tries to get away from you, it is almost impossible, you are his best friend, no matter what happens)

The school of riders that Xaden and you attend is the Basgiath War School: It is a military institution located in Navarra (A town far from the rest of the world, it is in a small place in France) This school is especially recognized for being the training center for dragon riders who serve the Navarrese army (The most important and dangerous army in the world)

The school is responsible for teaching its students hand-to-hand combat, use of weapons and how to control a dragon (Some riders enter the school with their own dragons, like Xaden, with his dragon Viserion)

Each student has their own room in the school... The Basgiath school is organized into four main quadrants or branches for military training: Riders, Scribes, Infantry, and Healers. Each applicant at age 20 must pass an entrance exam and then choose one of these quadrants for their military training, which can last up to three years, with the goal of becoming a member of the Navarrese army.
The quadrants in Basgiath:

Riders: They train to be dragon riders and form one of the main branches of the Navarrese army (Xaden is one of the best riders in the school, and one of the best warriors in hand-to-hand combat)

Scribes: They train as scribes, a vital group for military administration and documentation.

Infantry: Infantry training focuses on the army's ground forces

Healers: This branch is dedicated to training those who will be in charge of medical care and the care of the wounded.
