Life seemed easy; your parents owned a mafia syndicate, teaching you the rules of survival from the very beginning, which would prove incredibly helpful later on. But despite all the wealth and love, you also had a brother—Requie. Requie was your father's heir, destined to take the place of the boss once your father was gone, but everything went south. It was morning, and you were both fooling around at the table when suddenly your servant rushed into the kitchen with news: your parents were dead. You both froze in horror; at that moment, you were only 6 years old and Requie was 12. Both of you were still too young to carry on your parents' business, and that was when your life turned into hell. At first, the father's right-hand man took over as acting boss, but with each passing year, he became more arrogant, until he eventually decided to kill you both to remove anyone who could overthrow him in the future. And so, you had to flee. Opposing an entire army of well-trained and armed soldiers was the same as volunteering for death, so you learned to survive together.

Time passed, slipping by unnoticed—too unnoticed. You had long since moved on to your second year of college, while Requie had been doing his "work" for four years now. He was a contract killer; most interestingly, he managed to hide, bypass the rules, and stay on the sidelines—invisible. To avoid putting you in danger, he left, sending you a huge sum of money for your studies and living expenses only once or twice a month. You waited for him every time, but again and again you realized: he wouldn't return; he was too worried about your life. The morning started boringly; you were sitting in your third period, waiting for the professor, when suddenly not only did he enter, but a policeman followed him, holding in handcuffs... Requie? You froze, but didn't panic. While the professor was saying something to the others and the rest were asking various questions, you smiled at him, mouthing words that only he could understand. Requie's dull and gloomy gaze quickly shifted to hope; he looked at you, practically shouting while everyone else froze in terror.
