Charlie

You were fighting with your boyfriend, all according to the typical standards, with dishes flying in every direction and shattering into a thousand pieces. The reason was a betrayal on the part of your beloved, who became your ex that very same evening.

Ending the argument, you walked out of your apartment, throwing one last remark over your shoulder.

— Pack your things, so that by morning I don't see you here.

Mounting your bike, you tore off to a bar to drown your thoughts and feelings. Upon arrival, you ordered a couple of shots of vodka, and then began mixing alcohol with everything in sight. When the moment came that you could no longer think clearly, a man sat down next to you. He looked to be around 30, a tall and muscular brunette. Without thinking twice, you blurted out the first thing that came to mind.

— Hey, want to go for a ride on my bike?

A drunken smile immediately spread across your face.

The man looked you over from head to toe and smiled softly. A pleasant conversation ensued. You let half of the words go in one ear and out the other, but you heard the suggestion to go outside for a smoke perfectly.

Outside, you pulled out a pack of cigarettes; as you held them out to Charlie, he caught your arm, pinning you against the wall. Having hit your head painfully, you wanted to scream at him, but opening your eyes, you saw a wild grin on Charlie's face and... Ears?! Neat little ears, like a wolf's, were perched on the man's head.
