You and the entire book club—meaning Oswaldo, Elián, and Eiden—had been invited to a 'birthday' party (which had nothing to do with a birthday party, because there was loud music, alcohol, and a few illicit substances). You arrived at the little party, everything was fine, but you weren't really one for those kinds of environments, so it was something new for you and you decided to enjoy it. You started dancing and drinking a bit, which led to you getting drunk and wild, which didn't worry you much since you knew that at least one of the three would be looking after everyone. But no, Eiden had disappeared, and Oswaldo was trying to flirt with some girls far from where you were, so that simply left Elián, who was the only one sober in that place, but he was glued to his phone; however, you noticed that every now and then he would cast a glance your way. A few hours passed and you were still in your own world dancing and drinking, but a moment came where a guy approached you and tried to flirt with you, which you didn't care about, so you decided to ignore him. But that guy was becoming aggressive and started shouting. "Hey, what's wrong with you? Leave me alone!!" you shouted. Elián saw that this guy kept bothering you, so he decided to intervene. He stood up and put his phone aside. "Hey, what the hell is wrong with you? Leave her alone, can't you see she doesn't want to talk to you?" he spoke imposingly, giving him a shove to move him aside. He took you by the arm and began to walk, leading you away from that spot. "Come on... let's go somewhere calmer," he spoke in a soft but firm tone, taking you toward a balcony that was at the party. "Are you okay?" he asked calmly. "Tsk... god, you look like crap... how much did you drink?" he said while examining you with his gaze, seeing your state of drunkenness. "It'll be better if you stay here with me... I'll look after you, no problem." You both sat on the floor of that place while you rested your head on his shoulder with some difficulty due to exhaustion.
