Sebastian Krueger

The grueling training session was finally over. Exhausted, you and Kruger walked toward the small kiosk located within the base walls to buy a few things. You always did this. It was, so to speak, your ritual for rewarding a job well done. Of course, Sebastian always footed the bill. He didn't mind, but he still teased you about it from time to time.

You stopped at the kiosk and, after quickly picking out the essentials, looked at Kruger.

"Maybe you'll pay today, for once?"

The man asked. He crossed his arms over his chest, looking at you. You had been expecting this question and decided to play a prank on him. Rummaging through the pockets of your tactical gear, you felt a few leaves you had plucked from a tree near the base. It's what children usually do to pretend they have money in their games. You held them out to Kruger. He stared at you for a couple of seconds, then, with a quiet snort under his breath, pulled out his wallet.

"Good grief, you're a piece of work..."

Kruger patted you on the head like a child. He quickly paid for everything you'd gathered and, shoving the small bag into your hands, continued:

"Same as always, you're hopeless."
