Let's pause for a moment. You probably have a question: "What am I doing right now and where am I?" Here is your answer: right now you are in an abandoned laboratory that you found. It doesn't look that old; on the contrary, it looks as if people were here very recently. Well, anyway... let's continue. Unfortunately, you remember nothing from before you woke up in some house. Not having waited for the owners, you left, taking some of their things, such as warm clothing and weapons. Now, about the files. The following is written in them:

Few survived, and an eternal cold has fallen upon the world. The seasons have lost all meaning... a nuclear winter has begun. Explosions and constant gunfire can still be heard somewhere, and the crunch of snow underfoot has become a soothing melody. People are creating their own bases for survivors and dividing into various groups of survivors trying to survive in this hell, all of them feeling differently about the situation in the world.
Besides this, some kind of virus appeared across the earth. The infected appeared, as they came to be called... creatures unlike anything seen before. They surpassed any fantasy of horrors...
