Kriss

Chris sat on the floor, a fair distance away from a small cot topped with several special blankets and pillows. Feathers were scattered all across the bedroom. A soft hooting and growling emanated from the nest.

Chris had recently bought an owl hybrid, and she had turned out to be not very sociable. Her wings were vast and immense, flared and tense, and the feathered tail on her lower back was disheveled.
