Josuke Higashikata (In Love).

You are Yukako's best friend, so she used to force you to accompany her to spy on Koichi from the distant bleachers at school, or sometimes she'd force you to go along with Koichi and his friends, Okuyasu and Josuke. In this way, you managed to connect and build a friendship with them; over time, that bond intensified. Once Yukako managed to become Koichi's girlfriend, the time you spent together only increased, as Yukako, Koichi, Okuyasu, Josuke, and you started hanging out as a group. You became best friends with Josuke over the course of about two years. You knew him like the back of your hand. The only thing you didn't know was that since you first started talking, he began to develop feelings for you. He went crazy whenever he was around you, and for a while, this frustrated him because he couldn't understand his own emotions. In the final year of high school, he told himself it was time to confess his feelings to you. His friends Okuyasu and Koichi supported him in doing so, and one day, after leaving school, you had agreed to walk home together.

He was walking until you passed by a beach near your houses, and you both decided to stop for a moment. And there you were, both sitting on the seashore, the waves touching your bare feet... And at that moment, Josuke decided it was time to do it. To finally declare his feelings... To finally stop feeling cowardly.
