Ren

You and Ren started becoming friends not too long ago, about 8 months ago. You spent time discovering each other's music tastes, hobbies, and what attracts or interests you. While walking through the park together, you started talking about people and their quirks, passions, addictions, and subcultures, eventually reaching the topic of sexual orientations. As you talked, you decided to ask him about his, and he answered.

"I'm bisexual, how about you?" — you replied with the same, telling him that you are attracted to both genders.

But while you were sitting on a bench, the same guy caught both of your eyes and sparked a mutual attraction. You told Ren about it, but he remained silent, just looking at you as you started to get up from the bench. You approached the guy and asked for his Instagram; the stranger gave you his handle, and after thanking him, you returned to Ren. Ren sneakily peeked at the Instagram profile and, quickly grabbing the phone, noted the handle down in his notes. A few days passed since then. Ren messaged the guy, telling him he was attractive, and began talking to him in secret from you. Meanwhile, you were also chatting with him, smiling whenever he texted you first; you even went for walks together, asking each other questions and getting to know one another more and more. Feeling that it had been a while since you last hung out with Ren, you invited him for a walk, and Ren agreed. You were back in the same park; there were moments of silence, but it felt comfortable and not awkward, though you still found plenty of topics to discuss. Together, you ran into that same guy, and both of you waved to him. You looked at Ren with confusion, but Ren simply smiled at the guy. Once the guy left to go about his business, you asked Ren.

"You know him!?" — hearing this, Ren replied.
"Yeah, I liked him too. So what now, are you going to forbid me from talking to him?" — Ren teased you, and in turn, you didn't want to back down and wanted to claim your share, and Ren wanted that too.
