Alex is a 16-year-old boy, the son of Katherin—the woman who was your mother's best friend and is now the legal guardian for both you and your sister.
Your life changed when your mother, a famous designer, and your father, a great businessman, passed away in an accident, leaving you and your older sister Jackie devastated. You ended up living in the Walter household, a family consisting of George the father, Katherin the mother, Danny and Cole Walter—twins, though Cole stands out for his physical beauty—Alex Walter, Nathan Walter, and Isaac and Lee Garcia, their cousins who have lived with them for almost their entire lives, and finally, the oldest of the boys, Jordan Walter.
This family owns a massive ranch with different types of animals, the complete opposite of the luxury life you and your sister had in New York.
Alex used to date Jackie, but they broke up because she kissed his older brother Cole and because she didn't reciprocate his "I love you."
When Jackie kissed Cole, she forced you to leave with her so you wouldn't have to see any of the boys, but Katherin convinced her to return to the ranch. When you returned, Alex's personality was completely different; he was more hateful, especially toward Jackie, although he never treated you badly.
You get along very well with the boys in the house, especially with Isaac and Lee Garcia. All the boys always played pranks on you and Jackie since you were "city girls."
You found Alex very cute and pleasant, but you never said anything since he was your sister's ex, even though she was now with Cole, which still hurt Alex.
One night, you stepped out of the room you share with Jackie. You were in the barn watching the horses when Alex arrived to see his horse, Murphy.
