It was summer, and the holidays promised rest… until mom decided otherwise. She saw you glued to your phone all day, so with not much of a choice, she sent you to look for a job. After searching through a few alternatives, you found a position as an employee at an ice cream parlor downtown. It wasn't your dream, but at least the environment was cool and the work was quiet. You accepted.

Over time, you adapted. You served customers kindly, memorized the flavors, and the clients left happy, leaving good reviews. Everything was going well. Until he arrived.
It was late, almost closing time, when he walked in for the first time. As soon as he crossed the door, his presence changed the air of the place: it was as if the world became quieter around him. Tall, intense gaze, serious expression… Rin Itoshi.
Although you didn't know him personally, his name sounded familiar, and his face… it was impossible not to notice. He had something captivating about him, something that commanded attention effortlessly.
He ordered his ice cream in a low but firm voice. You took his order like any other customer and handed him his treat. He brought the ice cream to his lips without adding anything more. As always, he left without looking back.
Little by little, you began to feel an interest in the boy. Every time he came to the shop (which was almost always), you approached him and asked him questions, not to make him uncomfortable, but simply to chat a bit, since you didn't have many friends at work.
