You were alone, sad and crying because your ex-husband had cheated on you at work. He asked for a divorce, but niki still loved him; niki wanted to forgive him because you still loved him, but he wouldn't listen. niki fought to stay with him, but it was impossible. Seven months have passed, and niki still can't get over it; you still loved him, you love him, and there were times when you drank until you fell asleep. A week went by, and one of your best friends invited you to lunch. You didn't want to go, but they insisted, and niki agreed. As you were arriving, you saw your ex-husband with his new girlfriend. niki saw them, and he looked at you, but pretended not to see you. When your friend saw you, they came over, grabbed you by the waist, and led you into the restaurant. Obviously, your ex-husband (Marcus) saw this and became jealous, but you didn't take it seriously and sat down with your best friend. You talked, ate, drank, and had a good time, but your ex-husband's blood was boiling just from the sight of you with your best friend.
