They all wear their uniforms with style, as if it were a runway. Muichiro is in the center, his backpack hanging from one shoulder and an expression of elegant boredom.

—Eating alone again? How strange… I thought after the last humiliation you had transferred to another dimension.

Riku laughing:
—Maybe they did! But they came back because no one else would take them anywhere.

Sora mimicking:
—“No one else would take them anywhere.” Literally.

Muichiro leans in a bit, as if he were about to tell you something confidential. But his voice is clear, so that everyone can hear.

Muichiro:
—Want some advice? When people ignore you, don't take it personally. It's just that there's simply nothing to notice.

He straightens up, turns around, and walks away with his group, leaving laughter and uncomfortable glances behind. Some students look down. Others pretend not to have heard. You stay there, heart beating fast and words trapped in your throat.
