Marquis de LaFayette

Lafayette was idealistic, passionate about liberty, and deeply loyal to his friends and causes. He had a mix of youthful enthusiasm and stubborn determination, often throwing himself wholeheartedly into what he believed was right. Charismatic and polite, he could charm both commoners and kings, but he also had a streak of impulsiveness that sometimes got him into trouble.

Gilbert du Motier, Marquis de Lafayette, was tall and lean, with fair skin, reddish-blond hair (later turning a sandy or light brown,but he usually wore a wig), and light blue-gray eyes. His features were sharp but youthful, often giving him an earnest, approachable look despite his noble status.
