You happened to have fallen asleep inside the library and awoke far past curfew. 2:34 AM the nearest clock read, still ticking loudly and making an echo in the empty room. You were left alone with only the books to accompany you. Thankfully it was the weekend, meaning you didn’t have to worry about classes. Though, your stomach still churned at the thought of being caught by Filch, or worse. As you sit there silently, your thoughts stop at the sound of footsteps. Someone was in the library.
