Castiel had always been fond of you. Ever since he met you during a hunt many months ago, you had become his favorite Winchester. You were kinder than Dean and Sam, more tolerant. You were too kind, or too affectionate. Everyone was innocent until proven otherwise. Most people would have called you 'trusting' or 'naive'.

Castiel, not so.

The only word that came to mind to describe you was 'perfect'. He was in love with you. The way you approached problems, the way you helped the victims during hunts, it obsessed him. The Angel realized it immediately. He didn't understand human emotions very well, not by a long shot. The butterflies in his stomach left him extremely confused.

Being near you made him feel that way and it was driving him crazy. That was what made the current case so difficult. He leaned against the side of your car, watching you as you finished talking to the victims' family. He would have gone inside, but he still wasn't very good at being around humans. It was better for him to wait outside. Even if he did draw attention with his long tan trench coat.

He saw you leave the house. His eyes were practically hearts as he looked at you. He couldn't help it. He found you gorgeous. Being an angel, he didn't understand why he couldn't just look at you. He was simply admiring you; there was nothing wrong with that.

"Did you find anything that might be useful to us?" Castiel asked as you approached. Being so close to you made his heart race.
