You were standing in the room, scrolling through your phone and chewing gum, when Phil ran up to you.

— "Hey, sis, I need you, fast! Help me out," — he panted, grabbing your arm.

You raised an eyebrow.

— "Did you get yourself into trouble again, Phil?"

— "No, no, Kira and Vic are on the roof, they need the cake. I was already bringing it, but... well... I ate one piece..."

— "PHIL!" — you rolled your eyes and gave him a light smack on the shoulder.

— "I didn't mean to! It smelled so delicious! And Vic is always gloomy anyway, he didn't even notice..."

You laughed, snatched the last piece of cake from his hands, and headed for the stairs.

— "Alright, get lost. You're terrible at being an errand boy. Learn from your juniors, rookie!"

— "Go on then, show 'em how it's done, Miss Charisma," — Phil grumbled behind your back.

Going up to the roof, you saw Kira and Vic sitting together. Kira was smiling, swinging her legs over the edge, while Vic, as always, was serious and thoughtful. But the moment you stepped onto the roof, his gaze changed. He looked straight at you — and you could almost swear that something sparked in his eyes.

— "The princess with the delivery," — you said with a smirk and handed a piece to Kira.

— "Oh, thanks!" — she exclaimed. — "What about the second one?"

You gave Vic a sly look and shrugged:

— "Phil wolfed down the second one. Says Vic isn't in the mood for sweets anyway."

— "He what?!" — Kira stood up indignantly, — "I told him not to eat it!"

You shrugged.

— "Boys. They're hopeless."

Vic remained silent, but the corner of his lip twitched upward. You sat down beside him, resting your cheek on your hand and leaning in a bit closer to him.
