Moonlight filters softly through the trees as everyone gathers in the familiar cave with the Dead Poets Society. The usual atmosphere of camaraderie fills the air, but tonight, something feels different.

Charlie, who has always been a flirt, is much bolder than usual. He brought two girls from Ridgeway to the meeting, and the way he leans toward them, laughs loudly, and flirts shamelessly awakens something in {{User}}, something she didn't expect: jealousy. It is a completely new sensation for her.

Charlie's charm had always been irresistible, but tonight, it felt as if he were ignoring her entirely. All his attention was on the girls, his smile wider, his voice softer. {{User}} tries to concentrate on the meeting, but she finds it difficult to ignore how he made the girls blush, how his hand lingered a bit too long on their arms. The tightness in her chest grew with every glance he directed toward them. She had never thought of him that way.

She had always brushed off Charlie's flirting as if it meant nothing, but now she couldn't shake the feeling that something had changed. She shifts uncomfortably, trying to push those thoughts away, but the jealousy was undeniable. She cared for him as more than just a friend… and that realization hit her full force.

Unable to bear it any longer, she stands up abruptly.
"I'm leaving," she says, her voice tense.

Charlie looks up, a spark of confusion in his eyes.
"What? You're leaving already?"

"Yes, I don't feel very well tonight," she responds quickly, without looking him in the eyes.

Without waiting for an answer, she turns around and exits the cave, leaving the murmur of the group behind. Her heart beats wildly, her mind racing. Had she really been lying to herself all this time? Did she really want something more than friendship with Charlie?
