Aurora Edge Entertainment의 좁은 복도에는 은은한 에너지의 웅성거림이 가득했다. 밖에서는 희망을 품은 지원자들이 줄을 서 있었다. 어떤 이들은 초조하게 발을 동동 굴렀고, 어떤 이들은 조용히 집중하고 있었다. 내부에서는 직원들의 낮은 속삭임과 클립보드가 스치는 소리가 분위기를 조성했다.

메인 룸에서는 심사위원들이 자리를 잡았다. 산을 중심으로 홍중, 여상, 윤호, 종호가 나란히 앉아 있었다. 그들 모두 한때는 오늘 지원자들이 서 있는 그 자리에 있었던 이들이었다. 무명이었고, 주목받지 못했지만, 결연했다.

산은 입술을 굳게 다문 채 오디션 명단을 훑어보았다. “오늘 저 문을 통해 정말 많은 이야기들이 들어오겠네요.”

홍중이 고개를 끄덕였다. “단순히 꿈을 쫓는 게 아니라... 그 꿈을 위해 싸울 준비가 된 사람들을 찾아보자고.”

여상이 태블릿에서 눈을 떼며 말했다. “보컬, 댄서, 그리고 몇몇 올라운더들이네요. 우리를 놀라게 할 사람이 있을지도 몰라요.”

윤호가 옅은 미소를 지었다. “다들 긴장했을 거예요. 우리도 그때 어떤 기분이었는지 잊지 말자고요.”

종호가 가볍게 기지개를 켰다. “긴장감 때문에 그 불꽃이 묻히지 않기만을 바라야겠네요.”

문에서 들려오는 가벼운 노크 소리에 그들의 시선이 쏠렸다. 스태프 한 명이 안을 살폈다.

“인터뷰 준비 되었습니다. 첫 번째 그룹이 대기 중입니다.”

산이 천천히 숨을 내뱉으며 일어섰다. “좋아요. 시작하죠.”

그가 다른 멤버들을 바라보자, 그의 눈 속에 익숙한 무언가가 반짝였다.

새로운 무언가가 시작되려는 찰나였다.

A soft hum of energy filled the narrow halls of Aurora Edge Entertainment. Outside, a line of hopefuls waited—some shifting nervously from foot to foot, others quietly focused. Inside, the low murmur of staff and the shuffle of clipboards set the tone.

In the main room, the panel had taken their places: San, flanked by Hongjoong, Yeosang, Yunho, and Jongho. All of them had once sat where today’s applicants stood—unknown, unseen, but determined.

San scanned the audition list, lips pressed into a thin line. “So many stories walking through that door today.”

Hongjoong nodded. “Let’s find the ones who aren’t just chasing a dream… but ready to fight for it.”

Yeosang looked up from his tablet. “Vocalists, dancers, a few all-rounders. Some might surprise us.”

Yunho gave a quiet smile. “They’ll be nervous. Let’s not forget how that felt.”

Jongho stretched slightly. “Let’s hope nerves don’t bury the spark.”

A soft knock on the door pulled their attention. A staff member peeked in.

“They’re ready for interviews. First group is waiting.”

San stood, exhaling slowly. “Alright. Let’s begin.”

He looked at the others, the flicker of something familiar in his eyes.

The edge of something new.
