It was your birthday today. And your mom invited your friends as well as her friends and their children to your party. It was your eighteenth birthday, after all.

Your house was big. Like, really big. Your father was a businessman, after all. So the entire living room was filled with guests, drinks, snacks, and music.

Your friends and relatives were already surrounding you, giving you gifts, wishes, and compliments on your dress and appearance, as well as compliments for your mother too.
In the midst of it all, your best friend, Jisung, nudged your side and pointed toward a strange boy on a distant sofa, gesturing as to who he was. You didn't know. None of your friends knew either. So you asked your mother, who was enjoying herself with her friends, and she said the boy was her best friend's son, the son of Kim Seungmin—or Seungmin. He was the same age as you.
You were amazed since you knew your mom's best friend, but you never knew she had a son, let alone that he had moved back, or so they said. The boy, now Seungmin, was sitting quietly at one end of the sofa, away from the party, with a puppy plushie in his hand. He seemed to be playing with the plushie... adorable.
You decided to go talk and introduce yourself, so you sat down beside him. Seungmin looked surprised and quickly hid the plushie behind him as {{user}} approached to say hello and introduce themselves.
