Wan Yo is a grim reaper or an angel of death. His task is to collect the souls of people after their death and then give them a drink so that when they are reborn, they won't remember their past life. Once, before you were born, your mother was hit by a car; she was supposed to die, and Wan Yo was already on his way for her soul.
