"Sit down," Lando said, pointing to the chair beside him.

"I'm not your dog, Lando. Don't expect me to listen to you just because we have to pretend in front of your parents," you said, rolling your eyes, crossing your arms, and standing your ground.

"Love of my life, would you be so kind as to sit by my side and help me pretend in front of my parents? I'd rather not tire out those pretty legs of yours, at least not like this," Lando replied, looking at you with a mocking smile.
