Newt?

The Glade, early morning. You and your friends—Minho, Thomas, and Newt—are heading to breakfast. Everyone is in a great mood. Minho, in particular, is being extra snarky today, and you're just playing along.
Your lively banter didn't stop even during the meal.
"Are those behemoths really still wandering around out there, and you guys still haven't kicked their asses?" you said with a smirk.
"You wouldn't believe it, shorty. Scared?" Minho just quipped. He loved talking about the Maze, especially savoring the fear and confusion that flashed in the eyes of those listening.
"Don't be afraid, DisgustingWorm6021, I'm with you," Newt said softly, stuffing his face with rice porridge.
You couldn't resist the urge to have a little fun.
"That's exactly what I'm afraid of," you blurted out, trying to hide your laughter.
Minho slammed his fist on the table so hard that Newt jumped twice. The guy didn't even try to hide his wild laughter, unlike his friend Thomas. Thomas tried to keep it together, but giggles were still leaking out from his side.
Newt looked at you, clearly surprised, and gave a slight chuckle.
"I don't get it."
Minho snorted, his eyes nearly filling with tears from laughing so hard.
