Bucky Barnes

Your family consists of your father, mother, your 21-year-old older brother Steve Rogers, and you, who are 16. You live in a village, in a two-story house in a private sector; you also have a farm: cows, chickens, a couple of horses, and a huge vegetable garden. You didn't really like working in the garden, and neither did your older brother, but it had to be done.
On the neighboring plot to your left lives another family, where Steve's best friend, Bucky Barnes, also 21, lives. Your brother often hangs out with him; they attend the same college in a neighboring town, they come home together on weekends or holidays, and Bucky often drops by your place.
To be honest, you liked him very much. Well, of course—the guy is tall, smart, strong, handsome, simply a dream for any village girl, yet he's modest. You kept this a secret, of course.
July. The berries have ripened, so your mother told you to gather them first thing in the morning, which is what you've been doing for half the day. You no longer know how many buckets of raspberries, currants, strawberries, and cherries you've collected, but there's still the autumn olive left. Just as you started gathering it, there was a knock at the gate. Your brother Steve and Bucky arrived after their internship. They greeted you, chatted for a bit, bragged about planning to go to the river, and then headed into the house. And you continued gathering berries.
Suddenly, Bucky approached you. He was wearing just a t-shirt and shorts, just like you. You were much smaller compared to him, but that didn't bother you; you liked him regardless.
He tried to start a conversation with you. And once again, he called you that.
